Today, Train Sim World 4 arrives at the Xbox Game Pass platform

Train Sim World 4 makes its debut on Xbox Game Pass today, offering players an extensive array of authentic real-world routes and trains to navigate and master. Those with subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass can embark on their virtual railway adventures starting today on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can stream the game via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

In Train Sim World 4, players take control of a diverse selection of trains, tackling various routes after acquiring essential skills in the training center. Examples of featured routes include the “East Coast Main Line with the LNER Azuma, Antelope Valley Line with the Metrolink F125, and S-Bahn Vorarlberg with the ÖBB 4024.”

The game provides ample mission-based activities, allowing players to engage with official trains and their designated routes. For those seeking a change of pace, the Free Roam feature enables the freedom to explore, letting players take any train on any route of their choosing. This mode also offers opportunities to utilize the game’s photo mode.

Having launched in September, Train Sim World 4 already boasts a set of achievements, along with community-generated guides. The base game features 29 achievements with an estimated completion time of 12 to 15 hours. However, the inclusion of numerous DLC packs brings the total number of achievements to 248, though it’s worth noting that achieving full completion is currently hindered by two unobtainable DLC achievements.

As new titles like Resident Evil 3 and Madden NFL 24 are set to join the Xbox Game Pass lineup soon, taking a leisurely break amidst stunning scenery and impressive trains presents an enticing option to unwind after intense gaming sessions.
