Kardashian’s gown took Schiaparelli’s 12 artists 1,000 hours to make. Each pearl strand was strung and draped on her body, displaying exquisite craftsmanship. Kardashian wore white heels, a choker, pearl drop earrings, ruffled sleeves, and a lengthy train.

More than 50,000 freshwater pearls and 16,000 crystals covered Kardashian’s skirt and top. As she went from the Ritz hotel to the car to the carpet, some of the real pearls fell off.
